How fast is SQLite?

I have an app with a few tabs, each will have a tableview with anywhere from 10-50 items. Would it be better to do a SQLite query on each viewWillAppear or load everything into memory initially? Will the SQLite query be fast enough to not cause lag?

Any help is appreciated.

Agreed.

You shouldnt be able to notice it at all. When you are getting into the hundreds of items in one query, with large tables is when you will start to notice a small delay...
