Quick question on deploying for just iPhone

Hi -

I've been working on a new app and am ready to submit but only for iPhone, the iPad version isn't ready.

Just want to confirm the following: if I set targeted device family to iPhone, the app will still be available for iPad users, right? I understand it will not be a great experience, it will run in 1x and 2x zoom mode.

Have searched the forums and haven't seen a crystal clear answer for this.
