No sound in video clip on iPhone

I have a trouble with a little video clip. It's converted with Handbrake from a .avi to .m4v. After it looks so-so, but it works. It is picture and sound when I see it on my mac, in iphone simulator and on the iPad. But when I try to play it in my app on the iPhone, it doesn't play any sound. I have tried many many different ways of converting, but I just don't make it.

Do you know what the problem might be?

More to the point, did you convert the audio track to mp3 or something like aac?

I have tried AAC CoreAudio, AAC (faac) and MP3, but without success. With MP3 there is not sound when I play it on the computer either.

I tried to save the original clip to wmv and after do the same procedure, but no difference.

I have done it with 50 other files in different formats and all of them have worked fine.

I uploaded the original .avi to youtube, it plays ok, I recorded with screenflow and then fixed the sound levels in iMovie. But then again, in the iPhone it doesn't play any sound. This makes me crazy.
