Making selectionable only an area of an uitableviewcell

Hi,
I have a uitableview, where the cells contain an uiimageview smaller than the container cell.

Is there a way to make selectionable only an area of the tableviewcell (that one with the image) and not all the row?

1. The cell has a selection style
2. There is more than 1 table delegate method pertaining to selection
3. You could just use a button instead of an image view.
