App rejected (Lite version)

Hello,

Today I got rejected the "Lite" version of my app according to:

"2.9: Apps that are “beta”, “demo”, “trial”, or “test” versions will be rejected"

I've seen many lite versions in the App Store but mine got rejected, so I was wondering if someone with experience about this type of apps could help me out.

My app is a story book for kids, the lite version has only three pages and the last page has a "Buy full story version" button in the center with a link to the full app in the App store.

They say that rather than providing a lite/trial version I should use in App purchase instead.

What would you do?, I mean I'd like to use in App Purchase but I find it a bit complex.

yes, you aren't allowed to do a demo with "click here to buy full version".

Apple want that the LITE has a purpose itself, should do something usefull, not present the product.

So you can use IAP or remove the buy button and maybe change the story with a littler "full" story of 3-4 pages and advice the user that can buy a "full length story" elsewhere.....

you'd be better off making the app free for a day rather then allowing someone to only read 3 pages as that's not going to get anyone to buy the full version
