Default Apple bug turnaround time ?

So how long does it normally take for Apple to act on reported bugs ?
I submitted a bug the 16th, but haven't heard anything...
Just wondering how much I should try to find a workaround instead of waiting for apple...

Thanks

Start on the workaround now.

Bug fixes tend to come in software updates. I've seen some of them get fixed immediately in the next update, but I have one bug that goes back to 2007 for the iPod Touch that's still open, and another that goes back to 2003 for Apple's GCC.

Their iPhone SDK behavior probably isn't substantially different: If they prioritize it you'll see it in the next couple of updates to the SDK, but that may be months away.

I posted a bug months ago and it is still marked as "open". They get a lot of reports and they have their own priorities. "nacht" gave good advice - find a work around.

BTW - I'm not implying they ignore bug reports. I'm sure they look at all of them. It's important that people report bugs. Just don't have any false expectations of prompt responses or resolutions.
