I have a core graphics chart drawn over a IB XIB view and it works fine with navigation buttons at the foot of the screen. I would like to use the magnifying glass to get a close-up of parts of the view - ie. the graph in particular (which can become a little congested) - for clarity more than anything. I don't want to zoom into the graph and drill down for more detail - which I wouldn't do anyway - its more the user experience of using the magnifying glass to enhance the image.
I can't find any way to use the magnifying glass other that in a UITextField. I was hoping to use a custom UIButton with a magnifying glass image. Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated.

Well I would think you would make a UIView, then use the touch method to figure out where the user was touching, and do some math and CG stuff to enlarge the area on the UIView you just made.
