Default Externally accessing files in App's Documents (plist, txt etc)

I am writing accelerometer data to a file (a plist) in the app bundle's documents folder. This is being done on a device. How do I:
1) View the file on my computer? (I am interested in exporting the data to other software, like excel)

or
2) Access it on the device so I can send it to the computer?

I've done some searching for this, but I'm not exactly sure what keywords to use / where to look. If you could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Thanks

The latest way to do this is by setting UIFileSharingEnabled. You document folder will then be visible from iTunes.

How do you set that? It's supposed to be in info.plist but I do not see anything like that.

OH, you have to add a new row if it's not already there.
