Where do I get a support URL that's needed when submitting ? I don't have any website that I can submit a link to.
What should I do ? Should I just look for any free website and put the app description over there ?
One more question: Where's the executable at ? When I navigate to the directory that has the executable 'release-iphoneos', the .app file is grayed out.

It's greyed out because it can't execute on your Mac, only on the device. You need to zip the .app bundle and upload the zipped archive.
thanks for critiquing my question. I did not follow the distribution profile procedure. Also, this is the first time that I am putting an app together for iPhone. My first time for doing anything, absolutely anything in life is miserable. Hopefully, once I go through the whole process once, I will be amongst the ones who can answer other people's question.
Also, I started using the mac very recently.

Did you watch all of the vidoes? They are very informative so I would suggest you go and watch them all, it helped me out.

Just be aware that some apps have been rejected because they didn't have a support link.
if you're posting an app putting up at least a basic website is part of the requirement, especially if it's a paid app.
