Default app store submission: needs support url ?

Where do I get a support URL that's needed when submitting ? I don't have any website that I can submit a link to.
What should I do ? Should I just look for any free website and put the app description over there ?

thanks in advance

You don't need a support url, but I highly recommend one if this is a pay app. Remember users have no way to contact you through the app store.

You can always use sites.google.com if you need to.

You can put any url in that box, don't know if it even needs to exist. I put Apple because I didn't have a web site up at that point.

However, you should have a web site. It may be minimal but there should be a way for users to contact you.

Default Where's the executable at ?

One more question: Where's the executable at ? When I navigate to the directory that has the executable 'release-iphoneos', the .app file is grayed out.
What should I do ?

In your products group.
Click "Reveal in Finder".
I highly recommend reading the docs in the developer portal about this!

Or just use a free blogging service, like Blogspot. Here's how I've done it:

It's greyed out because it can't execute on your Mac, only on the device. You need to zip the .app bundle and upload the zipped archive.

Don't take this the wrong way but...how can you be smart enough to program an iPhone app but can't figure out how to find and upload a binary? :-?

detz,

thanks for critiquing my question. I did not follow the distribution profile procedure. Also, this is the first time that I am putting an app together for iPhone. My first time for doing anything, absolutely anything in life is miserable. Hopefully, once I go through the whole process once, I will be amongst the ones who can answer other people's question.
Also, I started using the mac very recently.

Did you watch all of the vidoes? They are very informative so I would suggest you go and watch them all, it helped me out.

Just be aware that some apps have been rejected because they didn't have a support link.
if you're posting an app putting up at least a basic website is part of the requirement, especially if it's a paid app.
