Problem with gesture…!!!

i tried this code ......

self.swipeRecognizer = [UISwipeGestureRecognizer alloc] initWithTarget:self action:@selector(handleSwipeFrom; swipeRecognizer.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirectionLeft; self.view addGestureRecognizer:swipeRecognizer;

it works fine in simulator

but while working with the device i get the following error
