accessing the music library from mac os

hy guys

m a new bee on iphone app's development. m using MediaPlayer/MediaPlayer.h famework. i just want to access the the mac music library (itune library) through MPMusicPlayerController class. OR is it necessary to connect with my device to access library. cnt i work with itune library??

plz help me!!!

MediaPlayer/MediaPlayer.h will only allow you to access the phones music lib.
