Post GPS without triangulation and Wi-fi (CoreLocation)

Hi,

I'm developing an iphone app that uses CoreLocation, it works great, but the coordinates that corelocation returns are not very good, sometimes with error of kilometers.
As I have read in this forum and Internet, iPhone GPS takes information from 3 sources: GPS, cell tower triangulation and WI-FI. However, in my application I want the coordinates only from GPS, so, Can I say somewhere to take only info from GPS?

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks in advanced,

Marta

I don't believe you can. However you can request the desired accuracy when you setup the location manager (desiredAccuracy default is best though)

But in your didUpdateToLocation method of your delegate you can check the timestamp (first event sent may be quite old) and the horizontal and vertical accuracy - and take appropriate action if the accuracy is not what you desire.
