Angry How I easily crashed iOS 4.2 on the iPad

iOS 4.2 iPad story. When moving an app icon to a folder the icon somehow ended up on the bottom row of the app lineup. The app icon strangely refused to pull back up so I deleted it. In doing so iOS 4.2 deleted the app icon but added a "null" app icon (that was its title) on the bottom row on the display page to the left. When I tried to delete the "null" app icon the iPad completely froze or crashed.

try rebooting, allways works for me >.<
When an app doesn't download or something, pisses me off :/
then I have to reboot, and mostly works out >.>

iTunes on my laptop sees the now invisible (null?) app on the iPad and even shows the image of the missing app on one of the iPad screen shots on my laptop. When I drag the app from the laptop iTunes display back to the iPad the iPad still refuses to display or acknowledge the app.

The iPad still seems to work normally other than a longer iPad bootup time than in pre 4.2 days.
