pulling data from a mysql db to iphone app

I was wondering what the best way to access a mysql db that resides on a web server from an iphone app.

I have a website running a mysql db and would like to make an app so that users can access that data from their iphones.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Look into NSURLRequest and associated functions in the iOS SDK docs.
