Question UINavigationBar customization

Hello,

I would like to know how some applications have a little "sub"-UINavigationBar below the main UINavigationBar. One example is the application of NY Times, it has a section below UINavigationBar that shows "Latest news Section updated moments ago".

I know how to customize the UINavigationBar using images but this not look like an image for me, what part of the UI is?

Thanks in advance

Just a UILabel probably? Not connected to the navigation bar but to the current view showing. Just a guess.
