Change TabBar Background Color

Hi guys! I have one more question… how do I change the background color of the TabBar? Is there a simple instruction like the one meant to change the color of the navigationControl?

I solved by adding this code to the "ViewDidAppear" method of my first tab:

CGRect frame = CGRectMake(0.0, 0.0, self.view.bounds.size.width, 48);
	UIView *v = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:frame];
	[v setBackgroundColor:[UIColor blueColor]]; //003366
	[v setAlpha:1.0];
	[[self.tabBarController tabBar] insertSubview:v atIndex:0];
	[v release];
