Using message function in app

Hi there i am new to apllication design and still getting to grips with the coding. i need to develop an app which uses only the top of the message function ie where you search for contacts or type a number in. is there a way and a code which allows me just to use that in an app or do i have to have the whole message application in my application.

It's possible to send Messages from your application, but you can't load Messages to your application...

For a more useful Message-Example just search for In-App SMS ;-)
