Ebook Readear iPad

Good morning,
i'm new in apple world. But i'm working on a project to create an application for the iPad to read epub files. I know that exist iBooks or Stanza, but i want to create an open source application.
So anybody have an idea on how i can open an epub file on the iPad?

If you want to store the PDFs on the iPad locally, you will need to create a server module so people can upload their PDFs to their device. Much like the app PDFReader. Alternatively, you could have the users bring in their own PDFs, but then you would only be able to market to jailbroken devices. If you are new to Mac OS or iDevice development. I suggest you start with something a bit more simple.
