corelocation question

I have one more question regarding core location

The functionality behaves differently on iphone and simulator

I do not see the "dont ask me again " when I execute it on iPhone
However I see this checkbox on simulator

So is this expected ?

Also if I check this box ( on simulator) the application never again pops up the message

I tried to clean the simulator ( reset) but that didnt work ?
