Stop background processing
Hi
i am making an app for iphone OS 4.0 . And while running my app if i press home button my app keeps running in background , but i want my app to close as soon as home button is pressed.
I tried using the following key in the .plist file of project.
"Application does not run in background "
and marking the right tick in front of this key in .plist file , but still my app keeps on playing in background.
Please help me guys..

Try a Clean All Targets and than build, also removing the app might help.
The iphone does not read the info.plist settings on every build.

Did you type in the "Application does not run in background" or did you selected it?

Solution
hi
i have found the solution for my problem. To stop the application from running in background, tick the checkboxes in front of "Application requires iPhone environment" and "Application does not run in background" keys in info.plist file of your project.
Thanks & happy coding....
