Default Simple way to upload a NSString to a FTP Server

I searched the forums but none of them work. Any one know of a simple way to upload a NSString to a FTP Server?

Thanks so much,

Charlie Fish

Do a search on "SimpleFTPSample" in the XCode docs. That is a working example application that will upload or download files from an FTP server. you can extract the part that uploads a file to a server and adapt it to your needs.

Check out our apps in the Apple App store

Check out this password generator app that shows various techniques including using a data container singleton object to share data between objects in your project.

See this tutorial on using UIView animations and layer animations:

See this thread on generating random, non-repeating text

Check out a very cool Macintosh Kaleidoscopes app called ScopeWorks that we released to the Mac App store.

I hate to say it but you are making this guy sell his soul to the devil of insecure FTP. He might get his server hacked.

I'm pretty sure that SimpleFTPSample lets you build an FTP client, not a server. Assuming he's connecting to somebody else's host, he's not incurring risk. It's the FTP server that's at risk.
