Default WiFi Bars

Hi
is it possible to display the WiFi-strength in an app. The app doesn´t need to show the wifi´s arround me, just showing the wifi-strength like in the statusbar
Max

Ah never mind it only tells you if you have wifi/3G/EDGE you could do a ping to a server or something and if it replies in so many milliseconds then the connection is this just like MW2 does on ps3, xbox and computer. Or you could just leave the status bar visible

The Wifi-strength menu bar item is a private API. So no, you cannot use that.
