Question about the next sdk

Do you know if there will be a SDK for the new Ipod Nano of will they do apps for it?

According to what John Gruber was saying on his Talk Show Podcast the other day it's not running iOS, but the same OS as before but with a revised interface.

I can't imagine any useful apps for the device really - small screen, no wi-fi, gps or cameras.
