Default which webservice works best with iphone

Hello,
I am a newbie as compared to webservices and iphone version 4 development

If I need to use Cocoa / Object C to consume a webservice - whcih would be best amongst webservice options :
( I am not sure what different types are available) so please corrrect / update me

1 >JSON ( not sure what it is but google is a friend)
2 >wcf
3 >RESTFUL
4 >XML

Dont know if above listed are indeed the types and if there are others too

Everyone will probably have a different opinion on this one.

JSON is probably the way to go IMO as it will usually have the smallest response size.

Yeah, it depends on your project and also your preference. In general, I like JSON because it's compact and human readable.
