plists issue

im new here , so i really have no idea,if this is the right place to ask my question......Any way,

I developed a table based page as part of my iphone app.I used a plist to store the required data.The app would then read from it.And it worked fine in my mac.
My problem is that when i ported it to another machine and tried to run it using vitual box,the page using plists was empty.Other than that,the app is runing fine.What could be the problem???
