SQLite3 Database Limit On iPhone

I am building an app for the iPhone that will use a SQLite3 database. Can anyone tell me what the maximum size Apple will allow on an iPhone app? I have heard many numbers, but I am not sure which one is correct.

For an .app file is 2GB.

Yes 2GB for download from the store.

Bud you can download more after the install. How big a SQLite file can be I don't know.
I think bigger then 2GB is possible.
