Default Pointing Users to Settings.app?

Im finishing upp my app now have just implemented my app settings into the settings.app. But im thinking that the average user will start the app and say, "omg theres no settings for it" since they don see a options menu in the app.
From reading in the forums i have come to the understanding that you can load Settings.app from your app.
So rather than forcing the Settings.app to open(Which dosent work) im wondering if there is a smooth way to highly suggest to the user that he/she sould have a look in the Settings.app for the Options.

I bet allot of you have encountered this problem so im just wondering what you did?

thx in advance
