iPhone and iPhone 3g won't play .mov
Hello
I hope someone can help me.
How do you save a .mov so it can play on a 3g iPhone?
Or how do you make a .mov viewable on a 3g?
I have been looking into this for days.
these are the Video formats supported on a 3g iPhone according to apple:
H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
but when I save my video according to this formats but as a .mov it doesn't play on the original iPhone and the iPhone 3g
as m4v and mp4 they play fine
but those formats don't work on Firefox
MOV is the only option that would allow me to have one file that would play across most platforms.
can anyone help me?
please
thanks for your time in advance
