I have a site under development with very minimal jQuery (just a few .click functions)...and when I browsed to it on the iPhone, those items were not interactive. I would highly suggest getting at least an iPod Touch to test the browser...marketplace.mastercard.com had the 8GB one for $79 the other day.
I'm not saying jQuery is a no-go, perhaps my implementation is weak, but I would want to KNOW if it were the entire site.

Thanks for the reply.
jQuery: If it's not too much trouble, can you tell me specifically what in jQuery does not work on the iPhone?
CSS file: The main CSS file we are using is theme.min.css. I think it's from Apple.
iTouch: A couple of people on our team have an iPhone that I could use for occasional testing.
To access the site on an iPhone or iTouch, I need to figure out how to turn on WiFi on my laptop, which is where the site runs in development. Normally one enables WiFi on a laptop so that he can access the outside world. In my case, though, I need to enable WiFi so that a site running in Visual Studio on my laptop can be accessed by an iPhone/iTouch. (Because of our customer's strict security requirements, the only way the site will be accessible on the customer's server once we install it is by using an iPhone with a special security app installed.)
