Ideas on how to make iPad SplitView Tabs

Hi,

Does anyone know how the developer made the tabs on the SplitView here:

BitAlpha - Making Stylish Apps

I assume its a splitview with a UIView over lay for the tab sections?

Thanks for the reply and the link , i'm actually looking at how I can attach the tabs to the splitview

i.e. this app has on the left hand side: List ~ Content ~ Tag
