log buffer for http audio streaming

Hi all

I want to make a simple test app for testing an m3u8 stream that I have. I want to log how much kb or seconds ther is in the buffer when playing m3u8 streams thru safari. (or a standalone app using the same player)


Anyone have any idea on how to do this? Fairly new to audio and stream stuff..
