Angry Spawn the keyboard at the top?

For the UITextField as an example, can you spawn the keyboard at the top instead of the bottom? How do you do it?

The standard use if you have a textfield below the visible keyboard is to move is to translate the textfield up while the keyboard is visible.

You don't translate the keyboard you translate the textfield. The only other way would to create your own keyboard view.

Thanks for the help. Do you know if the keyboard view can be inherited as a UIView and what its name is?

You can figure it out yourself really, with just a little work.

When the keyboard is visible, iterate over all of the subviews of the window. You will probably find it there.

If not, the recursively iterate over all of those subviews as well. The view containing the keyboard has to be in there somewhere...
