How many times can I submit an Application?

Hello,

I've just started to play with the iOS SDK.
Now, on Apple's website, it says if you're a paid developer($99), you can submit 5 apps a year. Does this include updates of the app, or is it 5 different applications.

Can you say where you saw this? This has been a rumor for a long time, but I've never heard they actually did it.
