Loading Modal Popup
Hi,
I want to know how to create a modal popup for waiting, like the one that appears when you setup a photo as a wallpaper:
Is that documented anywhere?
Thanks.

This would be useful to know for some things that take a while to process. If you get it working post the code so we can all see how!

You can do it easily with a uiview like i said.. or you can draw it using like CGContextAddArcToPoint and CGContextAddLineToPoint
If I get some time I will put together a blog entry on it

And is there any easy way to present a panel with buttons like on the bottom of the picture? I do not even know what it is called (pop-up? modal view?),
but I would like to be able to let the user choose from several options, and this seems to be exactly what I need. Sure, I could build it up from buttons, a view with gradient and animate the whole thing, but I would prefer something with this standard look, where I just give the list of the options, and the selector to process the answer.
Thank you!
/Sorry for polluting the thread with a kinda off-topic question, but I do not even know what keywords to search for, and this topic has the illustration /
