Question fbconnect custom login button and login screen

hi friends
i am creating a simple application in which user is able to post status and images to the facebook through fbconnect.
i have two questions

1.) There is default button in fbconnect to connect to the facebook which is

now i want to put a custom button instead of this button

can we do this and if we can how ?

2.) on click of default connect button a pop up login screen appears where we can enter user name and password but i want to use custom view to login into the screen. in that custom view i ll put two text fields for username and password and a button on click of which the user will be logged in.

so my question is , are we restricted to use default login view from fbconnect or can we use a custom view as specified and if we can how can we do it,

if someone knows anything or code to do this , please help, any help will be much appreciated.

thanks

1. As far as I'm aware Facebook encourages you to use the supplied login/logout images, however there is nothing stopping you from using custom images.

The images for each button can be found in 'FBConnect.bundle -> images' inside the FBConnect group which should be in your Xcode project. You will need to replace both login.png and login_down.png in order for the button to look how you want.

2. I'm not sure how this would be done, but if you take a look through FBLoginDialog.m you might find some answers as to how the current authentication works.

You don't have to replace those images, you should just use FBLoginDialog instead of FBLoginButton, and then make your custom button as usual, and have it trigger FBLoginDialog.

More on that in the Facebook Documentation

No clue on the custom interface.
