I was just wondering if Apple would accept my app (not game, its a utility app) if I only Support the Portrait (Home Button Down) and Portrait (Home Button Up) Orientations.

you must support all orientations.
It's great for people like me, I've received so many requests for support both orientations because apps were rejected for it. Most in demand freelance job for me.
people are taking this far too seriously. many of the included apps on ipad don't support all orientations.
i've submitted a book app to apple that only supports the two portrait orientations and although it's not been approved for sale yet, the initial feedback i had from my beta 5 submission made no mention of there being any problem not supporting landscape.
