Its not as good as its non iphone version, in fact check out the rating on the developers own app developed with it. Last I checked it was low.

Personally I don't like doing upnp on the device, since a user has to have upnp server on there local network anyway doesn't seem a big deal if they have to also run a bridge app. Does it. that way the bridge can do everything discovery, format transcoding and could even be embedded in a server app itself. like airvideo.

Not that there arn't some very good apps ie. plugplayer that use device side upnp , it just seems to me why bother.

look at our flow with the bridge and a custom video player to see what I mean.
