Since my developer certificate was about to expire, I revoked it in the iPhone Provisioning Portal so I could generate a new one. Now the status of my certificate is listed as "Pending Revocation". Until the revocation completes, I can't add a new certificate. It has been in this state for about an hour. I see from the archives that somebody had this problem in 2008 and his revocation was pending for 5 days. How long should I wait before calling for help?
I think I got my answer. This just showed up on my Certificates page in the Provisioning Portal:
Quote:
We are performing an upgrade to the WWDR Certification Authority. All certificate issuance requests will stay pending until we complete the upgrade. When the upgrade is complete all pending certificates will be issued.
I'm having the same problem, has yours been revoked yet?
No. I called Apple support. They gave me a case number and said they would e-mail me when they had fixed it. But so far it is not fixed. And my mobile provisions tied to that certificate are going to expire in a few days, making my iPhone useless for development until I get a new certificate.

I am having the same issue going on 6 days now. I tried revoking my Distribution Cert last Thursday and its been pending ever since then.
I've called Apple repeatedly, and no luck so far. Every time I get "we are working on it".
Anyone else had this issue and actually got it fixed? I have two apps I want to put out and I'm sitting on my hands waiting. This is so frustrating...
Woo-hoo! Apple just fixed it for me. I got an e-mail from Apple support and sure enough, my cert revocation has gone through and now I can request a new one.
