Default CRITICAL update trouble!

Hi all!

I have a critical problem with my game... It has been appeared in the AppStore today and due to an error all stages are available from start (because I've made a full available version to record the video and forgot to change it after that)... Is there any way to make a critical update? There's just need to change a .txt file from the main directory and this will be solved, anyone knows if this can be done anyway?

Thanks in advance!

PS: Of course, if someone wants to try the full game in a fully unblocked version, you can do it now and since it's updated (search for "Kill the Fly")!

Make the change, re-build, and upload a new binary.

Email Apple at the same time at appreview@apple.com, put EXPEDITED REVIEW REQUESTED in the subject line, explain the issue with name of the app and the app id number, tell them you uploaded a new binary, and they will approve in 24 hours or less.

Each developer is allowed one of these expedited review a year, I think. Might be two of these a year.

Thanks, it's done and waiting to be updated... Hope to be soon so we can't send a request to the reviewers until the final version is in the store!

Does anybody knows exactly how often these "emergency reviews" can be done? I mean, how much times a year? One, maybe two? Can this be done with new applications or just with updates?

Thanks!

It only applies to updates that are already in the store. Once a year per app is what I last heard. And it may be once a year per developer account. If A developer has several apps and keeps doing this, I am sure Apple will suspect abuse and ignore your requests after a while.

OK, BUT if your app is waiting for review or in review, and not approved yet and not in the store yet, then thing to do is a Developer Reject and upload the new binary. Then you do not waste your one expedited request.

Just a thought.
