How to Dial a number...

Hi all,

I want to dial a number from my native iphone app.

I know we can use openURL with "tel" but that quits my app...

Is there any other way by which I can dial but without quitting my app..

Yes/No ,

No because it cant be done using iphone dialer

Yes because using skype it can be done , so either go for skype API or wait till answer arrives

If I want to make a custom dialer which can handler both SIP call and ordinary call, if the WiFi connection is available. The application will call from the SIP trunk otherwise the call will call from GSM trunk. In this case, does the iOS platform will kill my application when my application dial from GSM trunk.
