Use shake gesture to navigate between random pages in a utility style app?

Hello.

I'm just starting to plan (on "paper") some ideas for an app I'd like to begin development on. It's going to be a multi-page utility style app (same "concept" as having multiple locations in the weather app) and I would like to be able to use the shake gesture to move between the pages (in more detail, I'd like to use the swipe gesture to navigate in "order", but use the shake gesture to move to a "random" page). I've done lots of searching (on these forums, in books, online, etc.) but I've not seemed to have come across this being done and I'm not even sure if it's possible.

So...

1a. Is it possible to use the shake gesture to navigate pages?
1b. If yes, is it possible to navigate to a random page vs the next page in sequence?
