Query regarding developer license

Hi,

I want to develop some applications for iPhone and for that I need a developer license. But I have some queries regarding the process to get a license

query1: When I try to signup for license on developer.apple.com it asks for a Comapny Name and it is a compulsory field, so do I neeed to register a company first to get the license.

query2: If I register a company at U.S is it that my app will be published only in U.S store? If yes what should I do to launch my app in more than one country.

You can choose whether to sign up as an individual or as a company. If you register as a company, Apple requires documents to prove that you are a company.

Where your company is located does not (to the best of my knowledge) affect where your app will be sold.

Just to add,

You don't need developer license to develop apps in the simulator.
You just need to register only. Once you finished your first app,
then only you should get the license - to test on device/adhoc/submit to itunes.
