Twitter Images using oAuth

Hello All,

I'm having a real b**** of a time trying to get images uploaded to twitter using some oAuth friendly way. After trying a bunch of different avenues it seems that the friendliest oAuth implementation of twitter proper is here:

bengottlieb's Twitter-OAuth-iPhone at master - GitHub

So it seems like the path forward is trying to integrate one of the oAuth image services into this (img.ly, yFrog, twitGoo, etc....apparently twitPic does NOT do oAuth).

I'm just out of my depths on this currently; anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Anyone having luck with this? Getting beat up pretty hard.

Hmm when I run the demo project I can login to my oAuth app okay; but the when the demo status update fires I get back:

2010-01-10 11:46:09.336 OAuthTwitterDemo[1137:207] Request 97118C2E-AB6D-40A5-87B0-3EBFF1C3842D failed with error: Error Domain=HTTP Code=401 "Operation could not be completed. (HTTP error 401.)"

I'm researching it now and not seeing what to do clearly; anyone encounter this before with oAuth?

It is very possible I have the twitter app settings incorrect at Twitter

I currently have it set up as Client Type, Read and Write, Yes user twitter for authentication. Perhaps it's supposed to be browser type but I'm not sure what to put for the callback URL.

Figured it out! Turns out that my twitter account was only allowing read access from an earlier setup; i had to revoke it in the connections tab of my twitter account and only then would the new authentication (with read and write) kick in. Nasty Gotcha!

i had the same experience while working on iType2Go.. and would have gladly shared.. but i am also equally thrived to see you finally got it working..

Lol thanks; this stuff is sure a bigger pain than it should be!
