Heyy, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is at all possible to place ads in an app that has never before been in the app store. I don't want to release my app ad-free, and later update it with ads. I ask because, when I try to add an app to AdMobs, it asks for the app's Itunes URL, but I don't have one since the app is not in the appstore yet. Anyone know a way around this? Thanks!

Although AdMob asks for the app's iTunes URL, you don't need to enter it to continue.
In regards to the posts about poor fill rates and low eCPMs, you can increase your effective fill rates by using a solution that allows you to set up several ad networks to get ads from. If you don't receive an ad from one, you can get an ad from the next one in line. I work for a company (.app/ads) that allows you to do this for free. If you'd like me to help you set our SDK up just send me a PM or @reply me on twitter and I can personally help you get started so that you can maximize your ad revenue.
