Default Testing an iPhone SDK app on an iPhone or iTouch

Hello all,

I finished my first iPhone SDK 3.0 project, but I would like to test it out on an iPhone or iTouch.

I pulled an app file (/..../<project name>/build/Release-iphonesimulator/<project name>.app) and imported it to iTunes but all i get is an icon of an "A" consisting of a pencil, ruler and paint brush (not the correct icon) that is tied to an app that doesn't work.

Any ideas on how to test my iPhone sdk 3.0 application on an iPhone/iTouch?

You've "finished" your app without ever testing it on a device?

I finished the coding and I've tested it out on the SDK simulator, but I would like to test it out on an iPhone or iTouch. I just don't know how to get it from my MBP to my iPhone/iTouch.

Hi:
There is a whole process to putting the app onto a device. Go to the Apple Developer web page and look for the Provisioning Wizard it will take you step by step through the process. You also have to have paid the $99.00 to be allowed to put your apps onto devices.
