Movie Player Question

Ok, quick question. In a UIWebView, if you visit a movie playing site that is able to play videos on the iPhone. Is it possible to change the orientation of the movie being played in the movieplayer? In an app I am working on, I have a webview. If you visit a movie playing site, it doesn't allow the movie to be played in portrait. Anyone have any ideas?
