Hi
have you tried using a UIScrollView to store your textVIews?

I never tried with text view but the apple example "Scrolling" shows you how to do it for UIImageViews.

hope it helps and don't forget to let us know if it works

What do you mean by "compressed" ?

If your goal is to scroll a text horizontally, then set your UILabel or UITextView width properly to the size of the text without line breaks.
