Safari Web App help

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if somebody knew how to hide the navigation bar on Mobile Safari when the page has finished loading? I'm trying to build a fullscreen web app and the navigation bar is causing my page to mess up.

I know that when the full-screen mode on a Homescreen icon is enabled the navigation bar isn't present, but I want this on my web app regardless of it being a homescreen icon on a user's device.

I know I can't remove the toolbar at the bottom, but the navigation bar can be hidden as when users visit Google the nav bar hides.

I've spoken to an Apple Genius - he said some sort of Javascript. I can't get into the developer forums as I am not a paid developer - just a freelance one!
