Default Free source code for app that uses Game Kit P2P APIs

I already posted this in the main forum, but wanted to also add here since it's appropropriate for iPhone OS 3.0. We've released free source for an app that shows how to send contact info wirelessly using Game Kit P2P APIs.

Thanks for the code!! Very helpful!

Do you happen to know if there is a good/easy way to develop an application to run on a desktop Macintosh that will be able to connect in the same way as a Beam It! client?

I am thinking of a server running on a Mac that accepts the same sort of zero-configuration peer to peer bluetooth connections, perhaps to multiple simultaneous iPhones and iPods? A user would launch the app on the iPhone/iPod and be notified of a nearby server to connect to.

Thanks!

The desktop Mac has built-in Bluetooth and it also has built-in ZeroConf networking via Bonjour, but unlike the iPhone Game Kit they don't work together by default to create spontaneous peer to peer configurations.

We have some ideas of how we could do this. If you're interested, you can contact us via our site.

Thanks.
