Which forum for provisioning, getting started?
I am trying to find which forum for getting set up. I went through this once and was able to get a development app on my phone, but due to a fault of my own ( tried 3.0 beta ), I bricked it. Now trying to use 2.2.1 phone and provision it. I am getting nowhere as each time I try, I get messages that the certificate I create has expired.
What is the relationship between Activation Codes at the ADC, CSR for the developer, application IDs, device provisioning, etc? A simple diagram or explanation of the dependencies would be helpful to a lot of us, I think.
It seems that once you screw up, it's screwed up and there are lots of threads about removing keys, revoking certificates, manually editing ~/Library/....
Instead of do this, do that, a set of you must have an active Activation Code at ADC, to check this, do X. To create one, do Y.
You must have a developer public/private key pair. To check this do X, to create one do Y.
etc.
Just an idea.
